Accessories with a Wow Factor

Shopping in New York will never let you down. Just when you least expect it, you find something that will shock you. I appreciate this because being a stylist and around clothing everyday, things start to get a bit repetitive. You may be walking down the street only to find a vintage shop underground or an amazing market with all kinds of unique pieces. I found this amazing full bodied feather earring at the Young Designers Market this weekend in Soho. The designer is the very talented Sara Keiser. It is a one of a kind piece made out of peacock feathers. This is not your average "shoulder duster" earring, this actually dusts the bottom of my hair. Each earring, or set of earrings if you prefer, are made out of different colored feathers. So, depending on your skin tone and hair color, you can pick the perfect match for yourself. These beauties range from $30-$75 depending on the work involved. You can get certain pieces with leather or charms as well.
